I did this housewives Sailing Ship Birthday Cake for my nephew Miller, for his ninth birthday cake was made in one loaf Tin, split and filled with jam and White Chocolate buttercream and Crumb coated in vanilla buttercream, then the fudge iced.
I modeled the guy and birds in sugarpaste, even sailing. the tree consists of laminated to a gumpaste, sugarstick (several taken before I managed) .the sea is the icing royal swirled with a fork in white, blue and green. I am glad it was a "hit" with the birthday boy and his friends, even though I am needlessly that the tree can take in transit to the party's headquarters!
